Can we have the /pat emote?

I mean seriously when you see your cute minions or chocobo, can we just /pat them? To be honest all the current emotes are practically illogical to be applied onto our minions/companions. To express kneel, wave, grovel, shrug, joy to our minions while they just can't understand why you do those expression makes me feel so lonely.

Can we just have some better emotes for us to interact with our minions/companions? It will be an interesting addition I feel.

The closest thing to petting a chocobo I have seen is a male Hyur doing /comfort which is supposed to be a consoling pat on the back...I'm too short to pet my chocobo ^^;;

I'd love to see a /pat or /pet emote as well.

I want a /pickup emote that picks up the lalafell that I targeted and toss them into the air

Also I want a /hug emote. This is the first MMO I've played without one.

Practically we just need more emotes! Current emotes are so dull.

I like the emote you all just stated to be added as well lol. /kick, /hug, /pickup hahahah.

Perhaps I could kneel and pet my kitten minion ^^

This. We have a barren desert of emotes compared to other MMO. SWTOR comes to mind. Where's my /grovel and /beg and... :)

SE probably won't give us a pat emote on grounds that players will use it to simulate groping.

We aren't allowed nice things.
