Increasing the maximum camera distance?

In a lot of MMOs, there are ways to set the max camera farther out (either in game or in the game files in some cases). Is that possible in this game? I have looked every where in the options and I've searched the web and I don't see anything about it. It would be nice if I could see a little more of the battle field in certain fights, but the current max distance is pretty poor.

Titan is already easy with a group of 8 people that know his rotation (Yes, I realize you're referring to Yoshi's comments on zooming the camera out). Anyway, so... extending dat distance?

I take it by the lack of replies that I'm stuck with the current distance? :(

Let me know if you find something. I did that in rift with a few encounters, namely akylios for starters. I would love to do that when necessary here.

The problem is SE has this fetish with invisible walls everywhere so even if you could zoom out further, I bet your camera would get super wonky the further it zoomed out.

What's weird to me is that I've watched some video on youtube of certain fights where it appears that the player has they camera zoomed out way farther than my client will allow me. Yet, for the life of me, I can't seem to find any reference to change the max distance and after posting two threads here (this is the second), no one seems to know an answer.

My zoom does not seem to reach that distance. Then again, it may be because he's a Lala....

I totally would approve of a little bit more camera distance, it would clearly make targeting large boss encounters easier such as Twintania as well. Kind of limiting on how far the camera goes back at the current moment.
