I was told that the accessories for these 2 jobs was interchangeable and either jobs can "Need" roll on both maiming and striking, but I was not able to need roll on my Dragoon on a Allagan earring of striking in Turn 2. Just curious if this was patched, or i was being misled by bad info?
You were mislead. Maiming is DRG only and Striking is MNK only.
The person telling you this probably had Darklight gear in mind, where it is interchangable. But Coil specifically, what said above is the case. Ultima and the extreme primals will have Striking accessories drop and those are NEED for both MNK and DRG.
