About collecting Wolf Marks

Im guessing that it either gives me the amoutn I get because that is how much you get, or because im just not very good, but I generally get in the area of 50 ish Wolf Marks per win, is this the normal amount, or less?

Im only asking because just looking at how much it costs for items it will take me quite a long time to get one of the higher cost items (though I can also see the logic behind this).

Im not trying to be greedy, or say "OMG I want everything easy and free", im just curious if there was anything I might be doing wrong, or anything I could do to help myself out here.
