Silent Dusk

does anybody know if I can use silent dusk at T2? I mean, some times we need a silencer and havent tried this so i need an advice or what can I silence with silent dusk?? i have a macro to silence the focus target to do this easy

I've pondered this myself. It'd be nice if things that required Silence were more than just "Bard or Bust"

Yes. I've picked up fumbled silences in my coil static.

You can be a great back-up if one of your silencers dies but I wouldn't warrant being in the actual rotation because of the 40s CD. Silent Dusk is also a lot quicker than blunt arrow so if you think it's not getting silenced, you could use it.

40s CD isn't really a problem as long as you're not the only silencer.

i've used it a couple time for backup, but if you're trying to do it in a rotation with 1 other person it won't work because of the cd

You would need 3 people in the rotation which defeats the purpose all together. High Voltage comes too quickly sometimes for even 2 bards.

I and people in linkshells I am in have done turn 2 with 1 SCH, 1 BRD as silence rotation even in 2.0 so don't know what to tell you.

For Turn 1 ADS, every second High Voltage comes about every 30-35 seconds, so it's not quite doable. Turn 2 ADS, however, uses every second one about every 45-50 seconds. I've done used it in the past when we've been lacking silences, although sometimes she takes a tad too long because she just started casting a heal.

Every 2nd-3rd run my coil group runs into a situation where the pala flames the bard "Why did you silence - it was my turn - we gonna eat highvoltage now" situation. Never gets old and they still didnt get it why that happens.
