Stairs
Ul'dah, A city primarily built by lalafells, the same people who make stairs that are way to big for them...
Referring to the stairs at The Eighty Sins of Sasamo if I spelled that correctly. Those things are like freaking walls compared to my body. I understand that for gameplay purposes the stairs are physically a slope because technically a lalafell can not walk up those stairs, they'd have to climb.

"The eighty sins of sasamo"
A set of stairs named like that which are far too large for a lalafell to climb
I wonder if that isn't on purpose
Like a path of penitence of something.

Well, to be fair, Ul'dah might be dominated by lalafell but it's population isn't entirely made up of them - all the city states are very much multiracial and multicultural. Also that stairwell does have a ramp on it as well, presumably for this reason. As the stairs didn't exist in 1.0, nor did the Gate of the Sultana it leads to, I'm likely to believe the stairs are a recent addition, but nothing is known for certain.
