So if you notice the main character from the R30 and R36 missions as well as a few goldsmith NPC's are wearing this red fabric attire adorned by a few jewels. I don't recognize that from anywhere else in the game.
Perhaps this could be a "hidden cookie" for a future goldsmithing/crafting armor piece? Has anyone noticed this and/or other guild NPCs that also have unique gear?

I wanna say some of the NPCs in the PGL guild are wearing purple shirts, which I don't think are in-game yet, either. . .

They wouldn't have to take time to create something new. Only thing that kinda debunks this theory is yoshi P released pictures of the con AF and I don't recall seeing that anywhere.Quote:

But if you have a look at the official page (not the lodestone, finalfantasyxiv.com) the goldsmith is wearing a blue-and-white doublet ensemble that isn't in the game yet either.... I'd actually prefer that to what that Elezen is wearing, and the doublet motif fits with the initial starting gear that GLD is given as well.
Edit: I thought the gear looked more like THM stuff than CON from that post... -

If you got the collector's edition & watched the "making-of" DVD, you would discover that every piece of clothing in the game uses the same model for it's category, but with components hidden and textures/colours swapped. Every shirt is the same model, every subligar is the same in-game asset, every coif is the same base structure.
The goldsmiths in Eshtheim's are simply wearing a coif with less of the decorations hidden and in a fancier texture/colour set unavailable to us.
