Copperbell roulette !
Hiya there!
Could somebody explain to exactly how the Duty roulette works because since dec. 17, its been 24 days so 24 roulette. I did the daily around 20 times out of these 24 and got at least 15 copperbell mines......
Not random at all I say and it's getting pretty boring. I had hoped to do a random dungeon each day and i would be pretty fun to help new players but... not so fun anymore doing the copperbell roulette

The 3 low lvl dungeons are picked the most since most people pug that and need help with that part ( since you need 3 dungeon's short after eachother). I almost never see halatali, never see cutters or sunken temple. Brayflox is harder but most people do it with guildies or friends due to that. Result is we are stuck with the lowest level ones... I am getting sick of Tam tara T_T

Rep already mentioned it picks low level dungeons most often.

I agree it's boring repeating same low level dungeons. I already did them enough in the beta. My only happy moment is when it picks Ifrit because it's over quick.
Hopefully the 2.15 patch will fix this.

It is simple math....
The large majority of the people are at either ends of the leveling spectrum... level 50 and level 24 or less. You odds for getting a low level dungeon is greater because there are more chances for them due to the population.
The other factor is story dungeons... more people are likely to queue for the story dungeon then the non story dungeons. Your chances of getting a Halatali or Cutter Cry is almost nil.
Combine those two fact and is why low level roulette is limited chances of getting dungeons.
Look at the level 50 roulette... When it first released most people would get either WP or AK, because the mast majority didn't unlock PS, HK, or CB ... as the weeks have gone on they have unlocked them... and now the roulette gives a better chance for any one of the dungeons.

I though that there were a random number generator that pick a dungeon and not go for the first dungeon in queue. That is not really random then, u get what ppl are queuing for the more.
I'd like a "real" random roulette, not dependent of queues

The purpose of the roulette is to encourage higher-level players to assist lower-level players, because completing certain dungeons is very important for progression in the game, and many people (particularly DDs) had to wait a long time for parties to form. Allowing a true random roulette would be counter to that purpose.
That said, I HAVE wound up in parties with three other roulettes, all of which on level 30+ jobs, and even in those we always seem to wind up in Halitali or lower. As was mentioned, this is a known issue that the devs plan to correct.
