PS3 SCH Hotbar Configuration Issues

Hi,
I am a level 50 WHM aspiring to achieve 50 SCH and have encountered a seriously crippling issue with my progress.
After gaining 34 ACN for E4E CC, I decided to stop playing SMN and go SCH.

My issue is that;
16 action slots
R1 to alternate between sets
When EoS is summoned, R1 jumps into pet action bar and cannot be altered. Instead of cycling to action bar 2.
I do not use this action bar for anything ever, is there a way to disable pet action bar?

For personal preference, I do not like holding R1 + O to switch, this consumes more time to alternate and produces risk of fumbling spells.

Any support in this matter would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, you can disable the pet bar. It's in the Character Config hotbar settings.

You can also configure holding R2+L2 to call up a separate hotbars, depending on the order they are pressed. I set it so that they call up the same hotbar regardless of the order. This will give you 8 additional hotbar slot options without needing to press R1 to change sets.

holding R1 + O its easy and fast u also can activate the L2 + R2 to show le left or the right side of the hotbars u currently have this way, u have 24 slots without changing with R1+O
