Just logged into the client and...

I just logged into the client for the first time on my laptop to help my sis with leveling and I have no gear sets etc... saved. Does this information not get stored in your account? Most the time I play on my desktop computer, but sometimes I want to play on my laptop...

What else will be missing and how do I remedy this?

The only thing saved serverside is what skills you set to your class/job. Hot bars and gear sets are saved clientside in the folder under My Games

There's a feature to Back Up Settings/Restore Settings under the Config button on the launcher. Back Up Settings saves macros, gear sets, hotbar and UI settings to a file that you can then load with Restore Settings on another PC.

Nothing for the PS3 yet, and it won't help you much now, but you can use it for next time.

On the PS3 simply copy out to USB the game save files and carry it over to another PS3, however you can't carry data between PS3 and PC or vice versa.
