Hi,
im trying to get online and keep getting error 80028ed6, according to google related to the psn unsble to check for updates for the game. I found online some tips, reset router and so on.. nothing work.
Im connected to the psn, but as soon i go into the laucher it kicks me
anyone else having this issue? :( any advice?
ps i m on hold with sony customer service atm
i play on ps3 all the time nvr really have any problems at all :(
only problem i get is occassional freezing so have to manual reset other then that no problems ;/

Sounds like a network error with the Playstation network to me, so assuming you've already tried resetting your Modem and rebooting your system, Sony is probably your next best bet.
It is a network problem. I had the same error. I was on chat, then phone support. This is PSN hotline # 1-800-345-7669. They are very helpful.

I also confirm no real issues other then freezes at times

Are you attempting to play on an expired 30 day trial/subscription?
Do you have the latest firmware update for your PS3?
Is Javascript turned on?
Have you tried reinstalling the game?
Have you redeemed the product voucher found on the back cover of your instruction manual?
Do you have your account registered in the Mog Station?
I'm just rattling possible snags, most of which you've probably already taken care of.
Yah, actually I have this problem too for 48 hours now I think. It must be it, a connection problem with the psn servers on the Playstation. Tomorrow if it's still not fixed, I'll try calling Sony but it's my first time having problems with the ps3, never had any before. I've done everything that could possibly be the reason that caused this, but I see here I'm not the only one so...
Anyhow, let me know if you guys found anything :)
P.S : Noticed the PS store and doesn't work either so....
I have had this problem on the ps3 as well. I bought the disk after it didn't work on the psn and that helped a bunch. My husband and I we still have this problem when it comes to down loading huge games. It stops in the middle of the install. I suggest starting fresh everytime with a new download and install.
Ok so,
I said I'll fill you out. Thing is, it's been 4 or 5 days now, all have gone back to normal, I didn't change anything (so I'm kinda useless^^). Sony must have fixed it, probably.
