Aether Data Center Competitve 4v4 Qeues

So I know quite a few people are hitting 30 this week, and many more will come in the weeks that follow. So I wanted to get the ball rolling on our Data Center's 4v4 Q's thread.

We all know that no one Q's 4's right now. Hell I have seen more active 4's play sundays in the 30's and 40's brackets then I ever have in this game. So with this knowledge I would like to propose that we as a data center try to find a mutually agreeable time to Q together into 4v4's and have some fun :cool:

I have no life so I'm pretty open on times, but I know that some of the other people on faerie server would want to try to shoot for something closer to 7pm CST or later but most any day of the week should be fine.

What's everyone's schedule look like? Maybe we can just go like a 4v4 day? and just try and Q up all day on Saturday? or Sunday? hell I'm good with PvP Wednesdays! I'm going to make a couple polls:

For the sake of fairness, mind limiting gear to i70 pvp, least until 90gear is the majority? As it is, having a few SMNs or Heals in i90 gear would make these matches pretty lopsided.

With that out of the way, I like this idea. We could have everyone involved use FR or DE queue for the night.

While I understand i90 gear can provide some advantage over others I tried to time this post to coincide with many people hitting r30, if by next week you, or at least some of your team isn't r30 and feel like that would put you at too much of a disadvantage then feel free to opt out, but I don't believe that there is any real way to police people wearing their i90 gear, not mention most people I know either didn't buy an i70 set or didn't meld their i70 set, gear stipulations that negate one person from a fight will usually in turn negate someone else as well.

So while I appreciate the idea, and feedback, unless everyone else that is Q'ing also wants to agree to not wear the r30 set then I believe that the gear should be free for all, besides 1500 wins in 3+ weeks isn't that hard to do, I will most likely be close to double that by then.

You're going to end up with very low turnout because of that. You might be able to get the three total groups at rank 30 to join, but most everyone else won't join for a good while. I'm still interested in joining, but I'm worried my group won't, knowing wed likely get seal clubbed repeatedly because of the gear. Wish my work schedule wasn't so harsh, I'll prob only be nearing 27 by next week.

You have to wait until more people are i90 for fair games. Especially if people are going in there with Summoners.

Everyone saying the same thing, wait till more people hit r30. This is to try and work out everyone's schedules to see when everyone would be interested in Q'ing for 4v4 on the aether data center. Most teams I know of have at least 1 or 2 people r30 by now. I imagine by next week there will be more.

Again if people are scared to Q into 4v4 until they r fully kitted out in i90 for the whole team then fine don't Q yet but please at least vote and make your voice heard about when you would like to see people Q, but I know people on Faerie that don't care if they are rank14 they want to Q for 4v4 no matter how many r30's they run into. I'm sure there are others that feel the same way. Lets just Q 4's and have fun, who care about gear. Everyone will know when the real matches begin, and everyone is on an equal-ish level of gear.

Like I said, I won't mind it. I just think more people will come out if they don't have the gear difference to use an excuse.

Idk, 21k damage from a r30 smn in 1 minute and 14 seconds is pretty disgusting when the drg only did 12k. I thought that was pretty representative of the gear difference. I don't have a lot of experience against r30s but it was pretty dam jaw dropping

Sure, still have to be patient. 4s are more fun but not everyone has the time to put in so easily.
