PS3 targeting needs to be redone!

It is impossible to heal a PC who is not a member of your party because the targeting in this game is a joke. Dear Director, please listen to this post and implement a better targeting system for the controller.

Down on the D-pad should scroll through your party, left on the D-pad should scroll through un-aggro'd mobs (yellow ones) while right on the D-pad scrolls through the aggro'd mobs (red/purple ones). Up on the D-pad should scroll through all NPCs and PCs that are in your area and not in your party. This way PS3 players can actually target PCs who aren't in their party. I haven't played with a conjurer, but I made an arcanist and it was near impossible for me to target another PC.

You know you can change the targetting right? You can customize your targeting so that Square + Arrow will select only party member, the same thing is true for PC or NPC

Targeting works very well on ps3. There is one minor drawback to the system. Healers, Tanks, and DPS all require different targeting options. I wish the ui target filters could be made for each class. Currently you have to manually switch filters when you switch classes. This can be rather cumbersome, and take some time.

Square + Arrow? What is that? Either way, if they would just implement my system there would be no need to customize your targeting. All of the targeting would be simple.

Take the time to look at the targeting filters and other options like Darkkos mentioned. If you don't know about "square + arrow," you haven't taken the time to customize the options.
I'm on ps3 and have only made very minor changes, and targeting is a breeze now. Don't it has to be redone if you haven't taken the time to customize the generous targeting system that was already implemented.

I agree with Lordfurious in where there should be something implemented like "custom sets" that you could save and select depending on what role you want to use.

Don't worry once you make it to endgame you won't be healing anyone outside your party anyway.
