Dungeon Unlocks

I have been playing ffxiv for a couple of weeks now leveled a few classes. My warrior is level 50. Thought i would check out hard modes only to discover there is another dull quest to unlock each. I thought I would try Crystal Tower. Another unlock quest this one requires multiple players to complete fates in unpopulated areas.

I must say that after putting all the time and effort to level a toon to 50, and grinding tomes for dl gear, that it is rather disheartening to find out many more hours will be required to unlock each thing individually. To me this is rather pointless and very boring.

My suggestion is to either A. Drastically improve the very boring long winded quest lines, or B. Remove some of the unlocks.

I am not lazy, but most of the dungeons required a story line to unlock. So to unlock the hard mode version to me is just a little redundant.

P.S. Lets have a skip cutscenes option.......serious waste of time in tome runs......
