companion help..

Hello,

So i'm a new player and got to lv 30, did the quest to have a companion, was really excited! I paid for a 6 month sub and with the vet reward for the black mage barding for the chocobo.

So now i'm at a problem..

I looked on youtube and found that i should have a little chocobo display on my character sheet, so i can spend Sp for the different stances as my chocobo levels its rank, and so i can change the barding for my chocobo's armor...

Well, low and behold on my character sheet I do not see that little chocobo, why is that? Do i have to gain one rank on my chocobo first before it becomes visible? Is there a command i can do to go into that sheet for the chocobo? I'm honestly quite confused on this part.

They moved it in patch 2.1. Its under the character sub menu, not the character sheet. So it had its own category. If on pc, go to the "main menu" buttons and click character then go to companions. If on PS3 hit start and go to the first menu and the last ot penultimate option is Companions.

so i did do that too, it was on the character sub sheet with like, jobs, traits, skills, etc.

Underneath was pets, companions, etc.

I clicked on the companions all I see is the 3 stances, free stance, withdrawal and follow.

There is no gear section or anything. Is that normal?
