Crystal Tower, In-Progress Baiting, and What Could Be Done

No doubt that some of you folks have been experiencing this in the DF where people are repeatedly withdrawing from CT. This mostly happens due to Tanks and Healers wanting to join in-progress CT runs, typically those that are before the final two bosses.

I feel the primary problem is how loot is distributed in CT. The body and leg pieces are given high stat increases and are weighed higher in value. The body and legs for Tank and Healers all come from the last two bosses.

Instead of punishing those abusing this process, I believe a better solution is to fix the spread of loot between bosses. This could be done by either changing up what each boss drops or by making it completely random from a bigger pool of items. It wouldn't feel like a constant drag for tanks/healers that are looking for body/legs to wait until the end before they get a desired drop that they want, and people will be more willing to just do an entire run.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Totally randomize drops from chests , so no one will know what & where will drop :D

Good idea. This way every boss will give u a chance to get the desired item.

However, in order to make the chances of getting item u want not lower than now, only one particular item should be able to drop for same party in a single run.

Or just not tell those joining where in the progress it is... but even as I type this... people are gunna find a way to twist things to their own advantage. So, just get used to it

Nearly each time I join DF, somebody withdraws, and it is random. Usually it happens more than once. In Crystal Tower, since there are more persons, it happens more times. Since there are more DPS, most times it is a DPS, but many times a healer or a tank. I suppose that people who wait for DF, go and do other things, and when the duty finder pops, they dont want to leave quests or are logged off already, etc. I have been observing since it is not the first post that says that people withdraw (tanks or healers) because they want a party in progress, and it is not always tanks or healers, but random.

There needs to be a cooldown for people that abuse the DF; have it where people that withdraw after the game gathers the group can't use the DF for 10 or 15 minutes if they do it 3 times in a row.
