Vote to kick and Join session in progress.

So today while doing CT we had this tank that was harassing multiple members about their gear, we voted to kick him and a min later he was back in the run and right back at harassing members. This went on for 5 votes until we finally got a new tank that wasn't him. What happens when we run out of votes and have to deal with a single person trolling a whole run? There should be some kind of lockout if you were kicked, even if it is 5 mins just to stop stuff like this from happening.

A lot of people still abuse the kick system, and it would be unfair to those who were kicked by trolls (rather than being the trolls) to be punished because someone kicked them. Kicking happens A LOT in pre-made groups, they do it for fun, yes it's not meant for that but it's still used for that.


You just seem to have ran into a situation where that guy was the ONLY tank queing up, and just due to the number of complaints of the kick function being abused in CT, I wouldn't be a big fan of a penalty for being kicked seeing as the game doesn't know if you were kicked by trolls or if you were trolling.

I do agree with you on the whole aspect of people kicking people for loot in CT but you shouldn't be able to Q up for a session in progress right away. It should be something like you can start a fresh run with no penalty but you can't Join session in progress for 5 min after being kicked.

I'd prefer something like this, honestly. Similar to you, I got into a CT run once where my party, which was mostly filled with FC-mates save for three slots, ended up getting this really horrible tank. After rushing ahead and aggroing the entire room, he of course died despite our healer trying to heal him. He then proceeded to insult the entire party for the whole run. We tried kicking him, but he just kept getting right back in. Eventually the FC members all used up their kicks, and the other party members just didn't see the point trying to kick when he just kept hopping right back in.

Something needs to be done to prevent things like that from happening, as it's extremely annoying and can potentially screw your entire party.

The same thing happened to me. The only person in dungeon without agro was the tank. I vote kicked him, and back he came. I ended up leaving and was the one punished with a 30 minute lockout. This system needs to be fixed immediately.

Did the tank not doing anything effect the run in any way?

Pally tanking can be hard at low levels, but this paladin never used a single flash the bard and blm and healer were tanking.
