Geaing up new alt Monk

Looking for some advice on how to go about gearing my alt monk.

Current gear -

weapon : Relic/Titan
chest : CT
gloves : DL
pants: DL
waist : DL
boots : DL
Neck : Allagan
earings : Allagan
bracelet : DL
ring : DL
ring : Peltast (i60)

I currently have 900 myths, so I was considering some options now -

1) spend myths to +1 my relic or should I aim for primal fist

2) buy myth pants since I have the CT chest already

Any opinions on how I should plan my myth expenditure and gearing priority? Thanks! :)

Do you have access to Allagan gear even though it's an alt?
How is your extreme primal progression?

If you're downing the primals on your main, then you can hold out for the primal weapon. If not, +1 is always best option to upgrade.
Depending on if you can get allagan will judge what you want to upgrade.
Also depends on how likely you are to get primal accessories and use your CT lockout on the mnk.

Are you trying for Coil accuracy? What's your current with that set up?

yes i do have a static coil team which downs t1 - 4 weekly, so allagan pieces are definitely accessible (albeit luck comes to play). t5 is still not cleared yet for us though.

extreme primal progress isn't so good at the moment. i reckon probably we can only down it in the next 2 weeks.

yep i'm aiming for coil accuracy since this monk alt may swap with my main bard for coil raids. currently accuracy with the setup above is 469. food i use is buttons in a blanket. CT lockout will be mainly used on this monk alt weekly too.

If not, then replace each primal accessory with an Allagan Striking accessory, and Go with Sphairai.
This is assuming that when you say you can get coil gear, that your static will let you have whatever melee piece you want.

Personally (assuming best case scenario of your group downing EX Primals) I would go for the Cyclas first, because your two other myth purchases (Legs and Neck) can be substituted with Allagan drops in the interim, especially since you'll be able to afford to a little bit of accuracy (and use acc food) as you gear up after buying the Body.

If Primals don't look likely, +1 first and then Body.

I would +1 the relic if the primal progression isn't good.

I think "safe" myth choices are the Hero's bracelet, Hero's Ring (only cause there's two slots) and Melee Gaskins.
The Fuma chest is a pretty decent stop gap due to its itemization.

ziddyt's method of getting the chest first is technically better. However, I think using the 80 gear available makes for a steadier progression. Considering you're rolling for mnk gear as an off spec, you really have to take luck into account and maybe use some of the alternate gear paths.
I, for example, have never even seen the Visor drop, though I've been downing turn 4 for more than two months.
Though admittedly, our luck was horrible. We saw like 2 monk drops in the space of 2 months. So maybe we're a bad example.

The myth helm isn't that bad, so it's a good option as well.
Ideally you want most allagan otherwise so it's hard to put a value.
Try to get a Garuda Ring, keep your accuracy steady and minimize spell speed otherwise.

I am in the same situation trying to gear my alt monk. Currently ilvl 75.

Weapon: Sphirai (not +1)
Head: DL
Body: CT (Fuma Chest)
Waist: DL
Leg:DL
Feet: DL
Bracelet: DL
Ring: DL
Ring: Allagan Maiming

Coming Week CT i should be rolling for hands, and probably get melee gaskins (leg).

I have access to coil t1-t4 weekly.

And have cleared primals with my main.

Question should, i get ilvl 90 weapon over +1?

Also i find my dps is really low, i really think its due to my weapon than my rotation.

Any help on how to improve monk is much appreciated.

If you can get Hellish Claws next week (primal), do it.
It's the second best weapon next to the Allagan. No question about that.
If you think your rotation is fine, you can follow what I said above you (since you're getting the gaskins and using the fuma anyway).
Even a 10 ilvl jump is a good bit when weapon damage is involved.

Keep your accuracy up and try to fill in with Melee sparingly. Ideally most won't be from myth simply because our Allagan and primal options are better.
Of course, they will still be upgrades so try to pick up the more decent pieces first -Gaskins, Hero Bracelet, Hero Ring (though Vortex is preferable) and the Helm last (decent but the allagan is great).
Hopefully, you can fill in the rest with allagan. If not, bite the bullet (if you're really dedicated to upgrading your mnk). Item level usually always means it's an upgrade.

thanks for the advise, how much acc is needed for t5 as a monk actuallly?

for everyone i been hearing is 482 and thats only for the big snake on T5 twintania only need i believe 470 correct me if im wrong but you can make up any missing ACC with the deviled eggs food
