Rubber banding
Since patch 2.1 I have been getting some serious `rubber banding` especially in dungeons. It is very annoying and wreaks havoc with my spell rotation.
By `rubber banding` I mean players and mobs will move then all stop simultaneously for a half a second then carry on moving, sometimes jumping to a different spot (but not always).
I have updated to the latest drivers, pinged my server (Balmung) and get an average 43 ms response (which is mint). I have repeatedly tested my ISP using speedtest and I get about 35 mbps up 30mbps down so there`s no issues there. I have tried backing of my graphics settings - still no luck.
Anyone else having this issue? All ideas or possible solutions greatly appreciated.

it's all over the forums... all the lag threads.
Pings aren't giving a good enough overview of what is going on with your connection. Try running either tracert or pathping to the IP your client is actually using (look these up with netstat or resmon--don't assume ones posted here or at other sites are correct, each world can be accessed from multiple IP's). This will show a little more information about what may be happening with your data along the route. If you spot highly erratic pings consistently at the same hops, you may want to copy/paste the results into notepad or something so you can contact your ISP through their website and forward all that trace data to them. This will give them some hints as to where they need to investigate your transmission issues to SE's ISP's segments.

It seems to affect each person different. For example in my case there's a specific hop to the data center that my ISP throttles like crazy so I rubber band.
I recommend you use a program like Pingzapper so it masks your packets from your ISP so they go in cleanly. You can try a 1 hour free trial in intervals to see if it helps, and if you like it type Wagram in the referral name line and you'll receive a free 30 days.
Hope that helps, but remember it seems to be a different issue for a lot of people.
