If possible, could we please have a different start up experience if we start a second character? It really doesn't seem necessary to have to go through the tutorial stuff all over when dealing with an alt character, and it would be nice to have a slightly more sandbox like experience on a second playthrough.
I don't think I've ever played a game that's done this that was an MMO.
Really I probably wouldn't use this feature. If anything, all I'd want is for all non-main quests to reset when you switch classes, so then I wouldn't really feel the need to have an alt character.
FFXIV is focussing you to play one character by giving you the option to all classes and jobs on one character. why would they promote making a second character while you can do everything on one already?
This game is designed so people don't make more than 1 character.
