Dragoon Bug Ability Life Surge + Dragonfire Dive Combo

A bug I've noticed for a while, while using the combo of Life Surge + Dragonfire Dive Combo. There are 2 possible scenarios

1) It should make your AoE a guaranteed critical strike, but it is only criting on the initial target you use your jump on and not the AoE.

2) Life surge states that it makes your next NON-Magic Action a crit, Dragonfire Dive states it does fire damage, in this case it should NOT consume the life-surge buff but it does.

So long story short, it should either make your entire AoE crit or it should NOT be consuming your life-surge ability.

If you use Life Surge with any of your other two AoEs (Ring of Thords and Doomspike) you will realize that it will, in fact, only turn ONE hit into a critical as well.
So it is safe to presume that it is by design that you won't crit every hit of an AoE, yet the singular strike is still a draining force-crit.

I think the correct solution is changing the ability text to reflect that.

You are correct, I never noticed it with the other AoE's. According to life-surge it should make the next action crit, I.E the entire AoE should crit according to the text of the ability. It does need to be clarified better, also on that note dragonfire dive should NOT consume it since it is considered a magic-ability since it does fire damage and not physical.

Incorrect, elemental does not means magical.
Notice that Dragonfire Dive is not amplified by Foe Requiem

It is both physical and fire

Not sure, if you read Foe Requiem it states:

Description Reduces all enemy elemental resistance by 10%. MP is drained while singing. Effect is lost if targets move out of hearing distance, and ends upon reuse. Cannot be used with other songs.

So if Foe Requiem does not affect it, it does magical or its not applying the correct damage.

It is confirmed the foe requiem tool tip is incorrect and applies to magical resistance not elemental, as it does not affect windbite dmg, and does affect ruin. Dfd falls in the same category elemental and physical therefore not affected.
