PvP Queue times are unacceptable.

Friend and I queue up, and sometimes we're waiting 45 minutes for ONE match, and this can happen again while waiting for the next match. Since Duty Finder is limited to each data center, I feel like the queues are way longer than they need to be.

Why not at least open up the PvP Duty Finder to all servers? Are there really just not enough people PvPing that it can take nearly an hour to find one match? I just don't buy that.

Please improve this in some way, SQEX. Waiting around for so long to actually take part in some of the game's content is really frustrating.

You probably haven't figured it out yet but if you jump constantly, you will avoid most melee attacks and that's what everyone has been doing recently. Most players are staying away from PvP until it gets fixed.

No problems here. If you get stuck in the queue for a while, try re-queuing. Also if you and your friend are far apart in rank, it might slow down the matching process. Also matching will take longer at oddball times of day just like any other queue.

This is actually completely false. Abuse of this has been quite rare in my experience and I played 50 matches the other day, longest wait time was 5 minutes. There is not fewer people just because of this bug or the alleged imbalances. PvP seems especially active on world groups with legacy servers.

I have seen the jumping abuse, and my friend and I do re-queue if it takes a while. She's rank 10, and I'm only a few matches away from 10 myself.

Nobody said it doesn't exist at all. You are being a jerk and you know it. The quoted poster said "most people are doing this". I played LOTS of matches without seeing anybody doing it, so while it may be "SOME" people, it's clearly not MOST people. We all have different experiences. Just because my experience is different from yours, it doesn't mean it didn't happen.

I'm not looking at just myself you know. I know jumping doesn't affect casters. It does affect melee and there is *always* at least one melee in the party. I don't see anyone jumping to avoid his attacks. I suppose you're going to come up with some BS reason why people wouldn't jump for the PLD MRD or WAR but would jump for a monk.

How so? How does me citing my experience make me "stupid?" How does making reaosnable, logical statements make me stupid? How does acknowledging that the world does not center around me and that my experience is not necessarily = to your experience make me stupid? Everybody has different experiences. The issue I take is someone stating that something always happens when I can play the same content and see it happen rarely. Obviously it isn't either "almost none" or "almost everyone", but rather somewhere in between.

People find MNKs/DRGs as more of a threat than PLD/MRD/WAR when it comes to burning Mages/Bards (yea, Bards do it too <.<)
Also, you sound like the luckiest person ever in PvP to rarely be matched w/ a party of jumping exploiters.
