Fishing Contest Idea

I would love it if there was a place in Limsa where you could go and compete against other fishers. :D

Would love to see something like this. DoL classes need more support.

How would it work though? Maybe special fish you can only catch in the competition, then everyone has to try out different spots within Limsa, lures, and weather for the largest catch?

I loved how they did it in XI. It was nice and simple.

You also had something like 2 weeks to submit the fish from the start of each contest, so you could really take your time with it, and didn't need to rush to try to win.

FFXIV Fishing Contests!

Once every Eorzean game day, the largest fish caught from a specific node (Determined randomly by the NPC) wins a price.

I really like this idea!


Also needs one where you have to catch a rare type of fish, winner gets its stuffed and mounted for use in your house
