The only fix we got to the atrocious FFXIV netcode was a rehash of the encounter we ALL hated with more unforgiving AoE mechanics and what seems like WORSE netcode.

These primals were supposed to be a huge highlight of 2.1.
This is a disappointment. This game will never have decent netcode, and the developers seem to have no idea how to develop content that doesn't HIGHLIGHT the huge problems.
IS THIS A JOKE?! NOTHING was done to fix the netcode.

If this is annoying you, don't play Battlefield 4 whatever you do.
On topic, a little tip: Don't jump out of AoE, I heard that the server won't recognise your position whilst you do so.
As soon as you are out of AoE, quickly hit an instant cast. As soon as you use a skill, the server updates your location. -

As a matter of fact..the only time I ever seen someone blame lag recently was when they utterly failed at Ultima Hard. On Mondays I get a ton of lag in Coil and the like but later in the week that lag clears up, so the servers aren't perfect but the game is still very much playable to a large portion of their playerbase -
