limit break building nerf

This nerf is pretty terrible on duty finder titan hard. I usually have 2 classes doubled up, so we barley make lb1 for heart. or we can auto attack for what seems like forever now because the build is so slow. a terrible nerf to people who get stuck with parties that have 3 of 1 class.

titan hard is bad enough on DF, now its even worse.

quick edit - people saying go in full DL, or this or that. i know premades/party finder/FC can take down titan HM. in Duty Finder titan HM though, this nerf is a killer on top of a low ilvl req that people try and do it with the bare minimum. I'm not saying titan HM is impossible, but for a DF titan it is now a joke on top of a prayer that you get a group that can kill it with no LB.

The nerf only affects building up Second/Third bar, it has no effect on the first.

On the other hand the LB bar no longer stops for a long time when the first and second bar are filled. Thus the nerf was complimented by a buff.

It's pretty stupid that they nerfed the limit break in this manner without putting any controls on the duty finder. At least in a premade, you know what you're getting yourself into. That said, this nerf was idiotic and should never have happened. Punishing people for wanting to play the class they like and with their friends? Yeah, great way to run an MMO.

i was lucky enough to get a DF party with 1 of every class, we hit lb 2 without even trying before the heart phase. but every other time with a double class pt get to LB1 for heart. i know its possible to break heart with LB1, but people still insist on auto attacking to get to 2 and thus taking even longer to just wipe in DF. this nerf really hurts chances of beating HM titan pretty bad in DF

While I agree that this change is tough to get used to watch the fight for perhaps undocumented changes that may provide a way around the full LB bar. For example I did not notice until recently that you no longer have to kill all the nails in Ifrit HM in order to keep from wiping the party. The nails act more like Garuda's pillars in reverse. The more you knock down the less damage you take. This is good because since it is very difficult to get even a 2 bar LB by nails the AoE is not large enough to hit them all. I do not do Titan HM a lot but those that do might see if some similar change has been made on that fight.

The whole "let's sit there autoattacking for two minutes to build limitbreak!" thing is incredibly annoying, tedious, and un-fun, particularly for healers who have to sit there healing through damage while the boss's HP doesn't move. It really needs to just be killed entirely. If a group is completely incapable of taking out the heart without stalling for a couple minutes on every pull to build LB, they are undergeared and should not be in the duty.

I used to occasionally jump into Titan HM on the DF when bored to help people out, but after repeatedly getting groups who insist upon building LB when they can't even get to the heart phase in the first place I quickly learned to stop doing that.

^this! you should be able to kill it with LB1 and ive gotten groups that can do it because yes they are geared enough. it really bugs me also that so many people suggest building it when yeah its just more of a strain on healers and more chances for people to mess up not standing in bad. i really wish the min ilevel was at least 60... 57 is a joke.

and there are no concessions for titan HM. heart is at 1% its a wipe...

In all actuality you should be killing the heart without even LB1 lol.
