Wicked Wheel Garuda Extreme

Ive beaten garuda xm 20+ times in the past week, but not as main tank. This usually isnt a huge issue because I overuse cooldowns and the healers pop shields on me, but I just want to know because it bugs me, and Id rather take less dmg.

When exactly does wicked wheel get used in each phase? First round of sisters, its after friction right? So how come sometimes the two will teleport in the air, then use WW, but then other times they will use it immediately, before teleporting? Is it a dps thing? So then the next phase, during tornados first spawn, its after the first slipstreams? Kinda guessing at this point. What about the phases after that, is every tornado phase going to be a WW right after first slipstreams? I got the rest of the fights mechanics down, just want to know more about wicked wheel so that in case the healers dont know either, I can let them know when to use SS and aldo. Thanks

It can't predicted accurately. There is some RNG to it or something else. Some players will tell you few seconds after Friction, but I have seen it all over the place on my 100+ kills so far.

I have had many tanks, when I asked one of them what is he doing he said and I quote "lol I use all my cooldowns there is nothing else to save them for"

My Coil Tank said something similar "Chain Cooldowns".

I have been trying to figure out this for myself so I can advice MNKs & DRG what to do, but so far the best advice I could give was, wait for the wicked wheel then jump in and hope we kill Suprana before they do it again.

I think its like twintania. It usually comes after the Friction, but the rotation can be changed a little over the course of the fight due to ability priorities and %hp left, or something like that. Also i think the cleaves come when that bullseye/target mark is up on you. Either way just focus target Garuda and dps the add so you see all Slipstreams coming, then you will have enough time to pop (half) your cooldowns with a HallowedHolmGroundGang as backup.

You will see a lock on one of the tank a target symbol.

Go away the tank must run too because when her do this her don't'move.
