Strange pet behavior in BC 1

During Bahamut Coil turn 1, just before enteringthe boss's lair, my scholar pet Eos would repeatedly fly away from the battlefield, magically appear next to me, then fly away again. I don't know if others have had this problem but it seems strange to me. Maybe it's because I'm a PS3 player.

Same happens to me as a summoner. I am also on PS3. Occasionally my pet will aggro Cadacus as well.

this happened to me in CT. My fairy would go down the stairs before KB then teleport back up and start going back down the stairs again. I play on PC so it's not only a ps3 problem. If i moved, she would teleport closer to me, but would still go down the stairs. She stopped once the fight started.
