Fights in this game getting repetitive

Very rarely do I come on these forums to complain, but does anyone find the fights in this game getting kind of repetitive? I play a tank, and most fights either consist of:

A) Having to Fight or Hold multiple mobs or
B) Dodging multiple AoE that instant kill you

I still love this game don't get me wrong, but are they going to have any other content besides "throw as many mobs or AoEs at them and let them try their best."

The only fight I find really unique is Twintania. Conflag is a cool mechanic.

Maybe its getting exhausting cause I'm playing a tank... IDK.

Every fight in every MMO (or even every game) get repetitive when you know what to do. This is the same in WoW, EQ, FFXI, FFXIV and so on. Can you explain what you would have them do to fix this?

That said, in CT you have different things you can do as a tank (clicking Towers, standing on platforms and so on).

Spends 50 levels learning job.

Clicking Tower is engaging content.

Can't satisfy everybody.

Tank swapping mechanics in ex modes are actually neat
