XIVDB lacks the materia stat caps for Det + Acc. Does anyone know what they are?
I'm pretty sure the stat caps are the same for all i70 jewelry:
8 determination
12 crit hit
12 spell speed
12 skill speed
12 accuracy
12 parry
Those numbers include the stats already on the item
you forgot +8 vitality
It's not the same across the board though :(
RG int/astral melds for +9 vit, but gryphonskin melds for +10 vit. RG tank is +10 vit base/cap.
Critwise, RG tank caps at 9, but RG int + gryphon cap 12.
Comparing gryphon wrist to rose wrist, 9 dex vs 7 dex cap.
hm. Actually, after looking at it, it might be the same across the board within each individual subset.
RG tank within RG tank, RG int within RG int. Astral within Astral, but not the same caps, say Astral vs RG tank.
I'd asked because I was trying to see if there was viability running RG bracelet over gryphon bracelet on BRD, but even assuming best case scenario it still falls short, so it's a non-issue now.
It's funny, when you answer the "what's the meld cap" question for all gear, then people stop asking questions, and the thread gets lost to ambiguity for lack of bumps.
Here's the list:

Yes, Gryphonskin Bracelet will be better for Bard, but only because you have no desire for the Parry stat on the Rose Gold bracelet. However, the Rose Gold meld will likely be cheaper, since VIT seems to be the most expensive materia.
1) RG tank crit definitely caps at 12 (meaning the HQ comes already capped). I'm not sure why you think it caps at 9, but the Rose Gold Bracelets already have 12 on them, so 9 is impossible.
2) I've not personally tested DEX on Rose Gold, but I don't see why the DEX cap would be arbitrarily lower than the STR cap. If someone has actual evidence more than "but the comment on xivdb...", then I need to revise my list of meld caps.
I misread the HQ stat as the cap, that was my bad.
However, given that 2 people separately commented that it was 7dex/9 str, one of whom has provided accurate caps for everything else I've seen, I'd hold it with similar/greater weight than your comment given
You can't assume they're the same without data. If you don't know, that's fine, and I didn't know so I asked. But questioning XIVDB without following it up with proof of your own is pointless. To me, it's just he says she says, and there's more people corroborating the 7dex thing than not. Furthermore, your list is incorrect forQuote:
7) VIT is the odd stat out, and seems to have ever-so-slightly lower caps on mage gear compared to melee/tank gear (roughly 10% less). Things like PIE/SpSpeed on DoW gear, or Parry/SkSpeed on DoM gear may differ like VIT does, but until I have some data points to work with, I'll assume they're the same for all.
As Astral ring, choker, bracelet + rose gold earrings cap at 6 pie.Quote:
Attribute caps for iLv70 Waist/Ears/Neck/Wrists/Ring:
• STR/DEX/MND/INT: 9
• SkillSp/SpellSp/Crit/Acc/Parry: 12
• Determation/PIE: 8
• VIT: 10(DoW gear), 9(DoM gear)

So, while I appreciate you trying to help, it's hard for me to take your info seriously on it's own merit without crosschecking it elsewheres first.
In regards to expense, I don't really see the point of crafting i70 without going balls deep on the materia. If stat efficiency doesn't matter, might as well just settle for Darklight until you get a drop from CT/primal/coil etc. As it is (and this is going somewhat OT to BRD BiS) I'm still a little hesitant to make the wrist, given Inferno bracelet + Allagan hat would provide slightly higher dps over ideal-meld gryphon wrist + bard's hat.
Thank you for the PIE info, I will update my post. It seems my PIE info is only correct for healer gear, which makes sense, 'cause those were the only data points I had to work with.
"You can't assume they're the same without data."
Perhaps you should look up what the word assume means. People wanted info; I saw a pattern, and I posted it. I can only work with the information that I have. If we waited until everyone had attempted melds on every piece of gear, we'd never have a complete set of data. I will add another note that says that my data may be incorrect for non-standard melds, such as DEX on tank gear.
