Add Treasure Map Cooldown Timer

Would just be nice to have the cool down countdown for finding treasure maps added to the "Timers" gump that is under the duty drop menu in options.

Would seem only natural that if they have a timer associated with them, then they would show it in the Timers menu. /bump

i fail to see how it was a good idea to not implement it in the first place.

Amazing Idea. Let's make this happen! I am a 50 Fisher and would love to know when my 18 hour timer is up so that I do not fish up a certain type of map that I did not want.

This is exactly what prompted my request. We fisherman do not get the luxury of deciding whether or not to take the map.

That would require common sense, or a little thought to make new content easy to use. Something this game seem to be seriously lacking. Seriously, they had all those complaints about seasonal/event items not being able to store-able in armoire( special chest who's sole purpose is to store such items), So much that they made all those items store-able during the patch. Then the very next seasonal event, only 2 out of 8 items are store-able(equipment only). I am not a programer, but wouldn't it be much easier for everybody if they just made all those items store-able when introduced to the game and not have to go back and correct it every patch.


While I would love this. The likely of them putting it in and having it actually work is low. Considering the current Timers don't even work.

The GC mission Timer is not accurate it supposed to reset everyday at 5am EST. Instead it use to reset at 4pm EST, but it has changed since the patch, haven't pinpoint an exact time yet. somewhere between 12pm EST and 3:30pm EST.

Really they should have 3 Timers and have them all work. They should be 12hours, 24 hours and 7 days. And every feature based on a Time should be synced to one of them.

Currently
12hours for leve
24 hours for GC mission, Beastman mission, Duty Roulette
7 days for Myth, CT, Coil

Maps acquire should either be reduced to every 12 hours or increased to 24 hours. Who came up with 18 hours? Such an odd, random choice.

Actually, I appreciate the choice, moreso because they don't show the timer. 18 hours means that if you only remember to get a map right before going to bed, you can still get your next one early in the evening the next day. It's intended to be something you gather daily without running around trying to gather something you can't get. But I absolutely agree that they should include visible timers for this, and it would've been nice of them to clarify how the dailies worked for refreshing besides.
