Put a Limit on Decline's for Duty Finder

Hey guys

im sure this has been brought up before but i feel i speak for a majority when i say that people are sick and tired of waiting 10-15 sometimes 40 minutes in a que just to have one impatient troll consistantly decline

People are doing on purpose now thats clear as day to troll

There needs to be some sort of limit on declining or a ban if somebody declines consistantly

Yes, this is total BS!!! I have had this happen quite often with some of our other FC players...some people suck!

Just to clarify it's not someone trolling, it will be a tank who keeps pulling out until he gets a dungeon that's in progress.

I do agree though, it's really annoying and I hope SE do something about it, a cooling off period after pulling out 2-3 times would do the trick.

Today I went into the DF as a tank. Unsurprisingly, I found a party immediately. But then when I tried to enter, the DF cancelled it (pulled me out of queue), saying the DF server had a problem. I tried over and over, before giving up and logging off.

I guess for the people waiting on a tank, I looked like a troll...


That being said, I am totally against a ban.
It's bad enough to suffer a time penalty after being DC in a dungeon (happened to me a few times when the game wouldn't let me log back in immediately), I don't want to also be penalized when I miss the 1min window of opportunity to enter a dungeon because I was distracted/occupied because I'd been queueing for 45 minutes as a DPS, and decided at some point that I would spend this time doing more thant just sitting around. It's bad enough to miss the opportunity.

As for a withdrawal restriction, how can you imprement this? The guy would be forced to enter automatically if he declined 5 minutes before? If it was a troll as you said, he'd still be trolling inside the dungeon... If he really didn't want/couldn't join, he'd just leave, or log off/afk and be kicked. So ultimately, it wouldn't help the group at all anyway.

By the way, can someone explain to me in what way it damages the team's game experience to have someone withdrawing? It doesn't prevent another tank to join, does it? Aside from being annoying because it raises their hopes and then let them down, I mean.

I think a 5 minute cool down would be fine, 15 minutes is too harsh on top of already long queue times. A lot of people are afk and have been in que for over 30 minutes. It is reasonable for one waiting to walk away for a drink, food, or bathroom break. 5 minutes would stop those who abuse it from spamming, but put those who are genuinely trying back into rotation sooner.

I had times where I waited 2hrs on duty finder, juz to complete a main quest to move on in the story.
Its a waste of my subscription n electricity bills.

Plus while trying to join a game in party finder, got kicked out juz bcoz I dun type their native language.

After all duty finder seems useless if u r trying to enjoy the game during ur free time.

They're also sick and tired of getting fresh runs when they want an in-progress one.
Putting "punishment" isn't helping any sides here.

There should definitely be some sort of side-effect that comes with queue dodging constantly. The amount of times I have waited 10-15 minutes, sometimes even longer, for someone to finally decide to click accept is ridiculous. I can understand if someone is afk here and there to miss the queue pop but there are people out there clearly avoiding the accept button til they get the scenario that they want.

5 min sound reasonable for me too.

i recon, there needs to be a lockout/cool down for people who decline during the Final Confirmation. Why cant the leave the DF before coming to the final confirmation screen.

And a whole group shouldnt have to be pushed back to the end of the line because it happens 4+ times in a row, that's ridiculous
