I got the same thing but it was a positive number for me. I was like "Just how long will I have to wait for these 26k+ folk to get through?!" >_<
sometimes it bugs out... just hit cancel.. and then re-enter.. no more queue

Anyways, I was stuck in a negative queue for like 2 seconds. Hit cancel, logged right in the second time.
-26,732 people means the server needs 26,732 more players on it before it can let you enter!
I didn't even have to cancel my negative queue. it just let me in like with the normal queue. took about ... eh.. I don't know.. 10 seconds tops. (I didn't pay attention because I alt-tabbed)
ya this a entertaining bug they have now.
well at least this can be quickly fixed manually compared to the other issues.
