Surprisingly there are a number of rumors going about stating 18th august and i have notice several online retailers now listing august as the release date.

My guess is that you won't see a release date until people are paying to play ff14 on the PC.

And you're not going to see that until the game is at least bearable..

And with the rate of patching and how fast the game is improving... yeah... you won't see a ps3 launch.

Untill square says something on the mater its still on standby, Online retailers that have a date have it there so you will pre-order from them.
