Wanders Palace is level 47 instance and is a part of the roulette I think that's why.
Wanderer's Palace is L50, and requires you to beat the main story to unlock it, just like everything else that gives you Mythology.
And even if it wasn't, participating in the high level roulette requires you to be at the minimum level of 50, with a minimum iLVL of 48, so...yeah. No point in having an experience bonus. Seems to be an error on SE's part.
I think its more for the future. The level cap will rise eventually, and the High Level Roulette would be a good way to get XP from 50+ when that happens. Rather than retrofit it to give XP later down the line, they just made it give XP now. Not like having the XP there diminishes anything.
Problem with that is that the High Level section of the Duty Roulette is intended for endgame(max level) content. Low level is intended for the leveling dungeons. So, when the level cap increases, they'll either be increasing the level of the current content, or removing it from the High Level section.
Possibly, but if SE has it coded so that they can decide whether you get Tomestones of Philosophy, Mythology or nothing, did they neglect to code experience in the same way? Like you said, it doesn't impact anything, but it is still a curiosity that should be brought up, in case it's an oversight on SE's side.
No..Wanderer's Palace is an optional Dungeon you could unlock once you hit 50. I unlocked it long before I completed the main storyline. It's not an error, the cap won't be 50 forever and if the game lasts long enough, having an xp bonus on a 50 roulette when the cap hits 55 or 60 will make more sense. It's just putting the system in the game now rather than last minute.
What would they offer now without completely unbalancing the whole roulette system?
I do not see an EXP bonus as part of the High Level Roulette reward (or any other roulette) as a level 50.
You only see the EXP bonus on duties if you are not level 50. Yes, you can click on the High Level item without being level 50 but you can't actually select and queue for it, making the fact you can see an exp bonus irrelevant.
