MELDING ALGORITHM BUG

I don't even know where to start....just wait 'til you guys hear this one lol -It's one of those things that gets you so upset you just laugh in an attempt to keep yourself from doing something awful.

On 12/24/13 (yes, Christmas Eve and for a friend), at approximately 5:00PM CST, I attempted to meld a Savage Aim IV to a double-slotted HQ Vanya Robe. The success rate was 29% since it was the first forbidden slot on the piece of gear...and it did not go well to say the least. Long story short, I was never able to complete the meld.

This 29% forbidden slot ate up TWENTY FOUR Savage Aim IV materia before I finally couldn't stand to watch anymore. It is clear that some kind of glitch occurred, either from me continually attempting without waiting a moment for the program to register the previous attempts or due to some kind of issue going on at the time.

I don't know enough about software to explain how this happened, but I know enough to realize that it is in no way "acceptable." Please let me know how to resolve this. I was in Old Gridania, at the market boards area near the leatherworkers' aethernet.

lol that sounds about right........thanks for the input.

I was hoping to find more meat in here, this is just odds and probabilities, I'm sure the person who melded 3 IV's and 2 III's without breaking any of them on three or four accessories is grateful for the balance you brought to the FFXIV universe.

The probability in this game is broken, took any crafting ability. A 70% success rate is 50% if you're below the item level you are going to craft and 90% if you are above..
