Garuda EX or community woes

I like how you pug into a group through party finder, kids waiting in group talkin bout how hard it is to find a group and blah blah, then you get in, those same people mess up, and then they are the first to leave.

What's a poor blm to do. So I wait then get in another group and whaddya know, more kids complaining about how hard it is to get groups going and blah blah. Bam repeat of every other fail group where people get mad after a few pulls.

Geesh man this community wants to put in as little work as possible, spend no time on progression, and has no patience to actually play the game. Where did this new breed of mmo crybabies come from?

Come on guys, put a little work in or stop pugging. ...Ruining it for the rest of us.

At least back in xi's prime these kids woulda been black listed.

I have a solution to your problem; make your own group and invite people you work well with.. or perhaps the problem is you don't work well with others?

This game is all about synergy; it's the reason I take my Free Company members over anyone else, and why I don't PuG.

I had this problem the first 3-4 hours of 2.1. Some drg got on a high horse while a few friends of mine were just checking out the fight itself. Duty finder for things like that I believe are more of a....learning experience? Otherwise if you are looking for another way to find a learning group or exp Party finder has been nice to me when my fellow mates are not logged into the game.

In my experience, those who complain the most often contribute the least.
Not to say your complaints are implicative of how much you actually contribute of course. I mean the whiners.
Some people just want a hard carry, and don't want to trouble themselves to go through the motions like the rest of us. It's like that in any MMO; just seems to be the way it is sometimes.

I had a similar problem today. Wentto do Garuda EX with a party finder group whose stated purpose was to learn the fight and had a couple dps leave after 2 wipes. REALLY annoying. Don't join a pf group that says: HEY WE'RE NOOBS and then quit after a couple wipes. Pay attention to what you're getting into. If you don't want to deal with multiple wipes, don't join a pf group that says that they are learning the fight. Join one that says they're farming it or something.

The flip-side is PF parties that say "farm", yet there are people who join that have never cleared the content or still struggle with certain mechanics. I expect maybe a wipe or two while people adjust to each other, but after that, I start wondering what the problem is.

Most likely people looking to be carried through it. I joined a group the other day that said "accesory farm, must have beaten the fight before" but when 4 of the party died to warp > mistral 30 seconds in I knew this wasn't going to be as advertised and just left.
