A Few BLM Questions

Hello everybody! Im BLM myself and have a few questions about the job in Wolves Den:

What is everybody focusing in?

as BLM i realized that i can do 1 from 2 things: CCing or doing damage.
If i decide to control the enemy team i always need an eye on who's breaking Sleep, Freeze, Cast virus and Lethargy on the focus target, etc.
But the problem with this is that im doing 0 dmg, i usually use Raging strikes + Scathe when the focus target is under 50% hp with this tactic.

If i decide to deal dmg exclusivly i see myself in problems because: i can barely keep 3 stacks from Astral Fire with the ridic amount of interrupt (yes i use swiftcast, surecast and equanimity) and people going LoS makes it even harder, not even mention if their healer is not being interrupted constantly (aka, tank is under cc effects)

What materia are you guys using? at this moment im using speel speed materia because the interrupts and players going LoS are a gigantic issue for me

Should i use the ilvl55 pvp wep or the relic weapon? i like using the ilvl55 weapon for the extra morale but everybody tells me that i should swich to my relic weapon, is the 12 vit and extra spell speed worth it?

Is there any consumable item i should but for pvp?

Other than the arcanist and archer skills, do i need any other cross class skill?

Yes it is normal that you spend most of your time trying to Cast CCs. Yes best Materia is where each item is Spell Speed capped. No you don't need other cross class skills other than Arcanist and Archer. Relic Weapon is better than Crafted HQ PvP. You main damage output is Scather, if you can't cast waste every GCD on Scathe but do not dry out your MP.

Any competent team will target you first. If they don't it is your duty to punish them by blowing them up. (It is very easy as a BLM). Trying Bliz 2/1 into a 3 Stack UI then go Fire 3 rotate to keep it at AF3 or UI 3.
