Heavensturn 2014 Horse? Snake? both??

So the new year is just a week away, and typically we have a new years event that coincides with the Chinese Zodiac of that year. 2014 will mark year of the Horse (Chocobo/Unicorn?), but we didn't really have an event to to celebrate the Snake.


There was a concept illustration of the Snake/Serpent Helm but will that be over looked and go ahead on with horse or will we be rewarded with both?

I wonder how will Square handle this upcoming event.

There was an official response to this a long time ago that we're going to get last year's in addition to this year's helmet because the game was down during New Year's last year. Chances are the 1.0 items will be available too like with the other holidays so far.

considering they usually don't patch those items in before the events but with the major updates the answer to your question might be already in the game

Not gonna lie, the horse one looks silly as all hell, but the others look like good vanity pieces.

Needs vanity soon. Will use the dragon one on drg.

I wonder if new players are going to be super bummed next year when they don't get spoiled with 3 years worth of event items being showered on them all at once.

Possibly. I'm pretty bummed I couldn't get the Yukata for the summer event
