We can't really theorycraft, if dueling was implemented ( I wish ) we could have a controlled environment where data could be controlled, monitored and analyzed. As of now, the only way to test Morale is jump into the arena and switch gear every other match, but even then, your enemies are inconsistent so you can't really draw conclusions, one match you'll be getting pounded by an i90 weapon, next match some prankster comes in swinging a i50 wep.
Yeah so, Morale isn't as good as I thought it to be. I have full PvP gear but I'm more effective using some PvE pieces such as my Wrym Chest and i90 deter ring
Morale is much more effective than other stats. ilvl70 pvp gear is easily just as good / better than ilvl90 pve gear. you will live longer and your damage will be around the same.
ilvl55 gear not so much, but the accessories are still useful if you're starting out, on some classes. For BLM/SMN, every piece has both morale and determination, and you gain defense (from morale) without losing any HP and you loose only a little INT, so they're quite effective. For other classes your mileage may vary.
I would imagine a dragoon not benefiting as much from Morale than say a healer, simply because dragoons are not targeted very often, but healers are and could use the defense boost from Morale. It's still difficult to say and will be more clear once people start rocking a lot more Morale with the ilvl90 gear and seeing how it affects their class against others.
