Patch Notes Error?

Under the battle section:

"Players will now receive the additional effects of other players' actions even if damage is completely nullified by statuses such as Stoneskin and Adloquium."

Should this instead be:

"Enemies will now receive the additional effects of players' actions even if damage is completely nullified by statuses such as Stoneskin and Adloquium."

OR

"Players and enemies will now receive the additional effects of other players' actions even if damage is completely nullified by statuses such as Stoneskin and Adloquium.

??

I'm not sure the first one makes sense, and I've noticed that Stoneskinned enemies now can have Venomous Bite and Windbite applied to them, despite nothing in the Patch Notes stating as such.
