last night when doing Hakkue HM with a party. on the last boss after she consumes the flying female chick .. no other adds spawn and she then consumes one party member for a total wipe. . witnesses her eat the bard.. and then the tank anyone else ever seen that phase of the fight.. we summarised that we didn't have the dps to kill her fast enough .. but still was wicked to see
Once Amandine goes down it becomes a damage race. After her fourth Seduce > Nuke move she'll eat somebody and blow you all up. Since you don't have to worry about more adds, just knuckle up and burn her down, blowing all CDs.
A SMN makes this fight a ton easier, since they can use the lvl 2 LB on both the boss and the add, and their single target damage really grinds the boss down fast.
lol its actually creepy the way it happens. something cool to watch if u haven't seen it.. although u will die after she eats someone .. she uses a move that seduces everyone to walk all creepy like towards extremely slow and enthralled.. then she devours a person its nutz
that sounds terrifying, but now i kind of want to fail the fight just to see it
I got devoured, it's not that special, but you know you're going to wipe once she pulls you in, and eat you (because you're at full life).
It's fairly easy to get to that part, if you're fighting it safely. You can heal through most of her rain's but dodging a lot also lowers damage, which is why that happens.
The trick to manor is simply jumping the adds as they spawn. And once you memorize where the adds spawn, it's a matter of 4vs1 stun/silence/beatdown.
It's the new AK, where the strat gets streamlined and this fight is streamline-able. Unlike siren.
I've never seen it happen but I've seen it about too, she started pulling me toward her just as we killed her. I was near full health too so it would have been a wipe. Does she chose someone random or is proximity a factor?
