My Obligatory Complaint Post

Just Kidding, I'm not gonna complain any. Just a few questions I was curious about and some ideas that I think would be cool if added.

Questions:
1) Wouldn't lowering the damage of the DRG skill Blood for Blood made more sense at 15% instead of 10 because of the jump to 30% for Enhanced?

2) CNJ - Thunder = WHYYYYY?

3) Tonberry Minion: Where? How?

Ideas:
1) Being able to use any other mount while the chocobo companion is out

2) A craft-able off-hand tackle box inventory for fishers

3) Being able to speak to NPCs whilst mounted

4) Fishing log listing bait that was used to catch the fish

Joke aside. Idk why.

As for your ideas:
1) Love it.
2) Love it. (Ok.. maybe not that much.. But i like it.)
3) That would cause clutter and make it harder to click the NPC. Ppl would use it to grief. A better idea would be an Auto Dismount feature.
4) Great idea

I can't answer your questions, but concerning your ideas...

Would love to see 2) and 4.
1) would be great, too, if there were more ways to get other mounts ingame before/at level 30 (atm I believe it's only through commendations?). Currently most of the alternative mounts come from rewards for paying real money (either sub lengh or Collector Edition). Or from ending the game (lvl 50). Or being legacy(?). Basically, a new player coming on this game, having not payed extra would be put at a disadvantage.
3) Not really, for reasons already explained on this topic.

@Sylvari - LOL, I love your reply to question #2. As for idea #3, I see your point and raise you a "people will grief anything."

@Billie21 - I understand what you mean, I just recently upgraded to the Collector's Edition myself. However, I put that because from what I've see on my server most of the people using their chocobo companions are already working on their 2nd (or 3rd) class and more than likely already finished the main campaign. Or in the case of WHM: Achieved Unicorn.

Also, More Ideas:

5) To be able to wear a hat/cowled item and a face item/accessory at the same time

6) Display Mining/Botany nodes on the larger map

Another Question:

4) Why isn't my signature working?

if you hold the I think "x" key, it only targets NPC's so people can not grief you on being able to click on them.

I see... I didn't think of that because i just thought the sheer size of Magitek and Goobbue mounts and about 30 of them on some major main story quest NPC would happen like in a lot of other games.

@Joven You are correct. People will do anything to grief others whether or not there is something to stop them. My point is why give them the chance on this one when a auto-dismount feature would be more than enough.
