Ultima's Aetheric Boon never spawned.
Assuming I got the name right, "Aetheric Boon", being the bombs you need to detonate before they reach each other and explode for massive damage thus wiping the group?
Right, anyway, I just had what was probably the easiest Ultima hard mode run I've ever seen, and most likely will ever see.
The first bombs happened just as one would expect. They came out, people were cautious about walking into them but eventually we took care of them before anything bad happened. We continued fighting.
Later on, when Ultima was using the same attack for the second time, and I was bracing myself for getting ready to eat one of the bombs myself as a Summoner...
Except they weren't there.
At this point I thought there was a bug where the spell models/animation just didn't appear. I've seen this happen with Tank Purge a couple of times where the attack is used, but I see no animation.
Except with the bombs, they just... didn't come out. At all.
I was expecting to die because no one could see them, but after continuing to battle Ultima for 20+ seconds and nothing happening, we just shrugged it off and continued fighting.
The same thing happened again with the third set of bombs, the ones people always wipe on because they blow up too fast. The attack was used, everyone was pushed back up against the wall (this happened earlier too). But the bombs themselves never actually appeared.
So naturally we just continued fighting him and won way too easily because people weren't dropping like flies from suiciding to save the rest of the group.
