I completed the Titan Extreme fight, and had the quest "Wake me up before you O'ghomoro" complete in quest log. When I handed it in, it told me to Re-attune to the Aetherite again, instead of allowing me to move on to the Ifrit Extreme quest chain. Now in my quest log I am back to the quest telling me to enter "The Naval (Extreme) through duty finder" which I previously already did.

Once you can provide such information we can move forward and resolve this issue. For now I am going to move this thread into Insufficient Information.
