Sprint just seems to cause a lot of problems for pvp and is up WAY too often. Melee doesn't have access to it because of TP costs yet needs it the most. IMO the game would be better without sprint and then just remove the casting cancel when players get hit.

No it would be better without disabling or altering anything, or as little as possible. If we start cherrypicking things that came from the pve game that we don't like it starts to turn it into a completely different game.
It's possible to remove sprint from the enemy, it isn't that effective anyway it's really not a problem, so no.
