What SE needed to do to Fun in Housing!

It's a good thing.

I'm finding it's the upstarts that are producing better content than the AAA developers that are just milking the nostalgia factor of their IP's.

Minecraft, Kerbal Space Program, Wildstar. They aren't preoccupied with IP Gimmicks (*cough* chocobos), what's "mainstream", and micromanging the player experience.

Just build a world and let the players play.

Now this is what is supposed to be here in FF14 ! You get your land and little place for free and start to develop it with money and materials ! Together with your friends and FC members ! Make fun stuff together there! Was it so hard to do it i am asking !

This is a game not real life simolator or something for grinding all day!

There is simply no excuse for SE to locking the content this way and not to offered it like the creators of Wildstar! Im paying SE 15$ monthly and they are punish me and locking content because they cant get rid of Gill Sellers and boters from their own game !

The most retarded thing in that fact is that gils serves no real purpose outside of gear repairs in FFXIV (excluding housing obviously).

Agree !

And who made it to be so....why did they put crafting classes when crafting is pointless ! I will give example the best armors you got from dns , by Grinding them soooo fun to do it!Why didnt they put recepies for armors witch are equaly strong but different look, people will buy them! Another example, why did they put furniture recepies when 1% of people can buy a house, nobody will craft them and nobody will buy them because they dont have a house! And another example, i got from titan hard mode a spear for dragoons, why cant i trade it ? For me the spear is pointless because i will never make one dont like it so why cant i trade this item!

Like the video from OP, give us something small witch can be upgraded couple of times with matirials and gills! But no give us more dns for grinding ! Patch 2.2 from waht they showed in last couple of letters will be focused more at armors means more dns more grinding, really fun !

PS: I am so angry at SE :(

I agree with you all SE is the only game company I know that is locking out housing to everyone! I mean come one we should at least buy a straw hut!

Look at how a kick starter company can implement soo much into their housing for fun stuff for casuals, crafters, and heck even the hardcore players have a reason to buy the house for specialized buff! you wont be able to get a nice fancy house in it but it allowed you to buy a shack!
