The moogle NPC to escort seems bugged. A blue icon is above his head, but you cannot interact. You can go through and kill the required mobs, but the moogle does not follow you, making the quest impassable. :(

Area: Sweetbloom Pier

Location: X10 Y22
Last time this was submitted as a bug it was ignored. But the easy way to just spam Kuplo Kopp over and over till it goes through. I know that's how many people got through it including me. If on the PC just use the 0 on the numpad and start spamming not sure what it is on the PS3.
I got it to work by selecting the moogle and holding down X (PS3) for a few seconds, he then decided to follow me. Hope this helps :)
