UI should be made more responsive

I'm sure I'm not the only one who ever felt like the UI is not very responsive at times, specially when trying to select a skill from the bar using a controller. Things like menu selection should be made instant and I'm not talking about actions that require a server response (like using an option, opening a menu, etc) I'm just talking about the transitioning between options.

This is not a problem exclusive to the skill bar, I feel like this problem is also present in the main menu when trying to choose between the various options there. I think improving the responsiveness of the UI in this aspect would improve a lot of the navigation, because right now, when trying to choose a skill in the bar it feels like I'm dragging a sleeping bear with a rope tied to my pink toe.

Also, Gathering is a really big problem for users with an elevated ping. When trying to choose the areas to dig/chop/fish, there's usually a very noticeable delay there. So noticeable that sometimes you can miss a gathering attempt just because the delay was too big when you were trying it. Right now I have to confirm my action way before it gets to the desired area, otherwise I'd just miss the spot because of the delay. I don't know if this was actually intended by the development team, but it doesn't feel very natural and responsive.

I know RMT is a big issue and controlling the UI is the best way you guys found to stop this kind of activity, but as it is now, it's hindering gameplay in a lot of ways.
