I have noticed a lot more caster/healers jumping as they run away non-stop and each time they jump they move out of range from melee attacks and my attack drops making them unhittable. This seems to negatively impact melee attacks as much or more than sprint.
I think hopping will be something they'll have to work on in the near future. You could always try jumping with them as you cast your spells?

Yeah I mean I am chasing someone and in melee range press button for attack and they jump and the attack doesn't go off.
Don't people do this in every MMO PvP? I mean, that and running in small circles around people so they can't be faced.
No, this is you jump so the game says you're further away than you actually are. Lets say jump moves you 1 yalm up and max attack range is 5 yalms. If you're 5 yalms away from someone attacking you and you jump, you're suddenly out of range because the distance between you and the person trying to punch you is now 5.099 yalms. That's .099 yalms too farm! No attack for your enemy they just get a target out of range message.
I've noticed this same problem. You're right next to the enemy and you can't land a strike because of the jumping.
This is getting abused badly right now. This needs to get fixed asap.
Not sure if this can be easily fixed.
