Excalibur (Legacy) 0 Houses bought in limsa/uldah/gridania

What's the point in a gil sink if no one is going to use it? Seems like they're just promoting homelessness and wastefulness. After all, they are running server space for housing which requires power. Housing should be 100% available to everyone. Its so sad and pathetic to walk through a housing district with no homes.

They made it expensive because the servers can't handle all the houses. The excuse is poor.

They should have not released it and given the reason the servers couldn't handle all of the houses. Rather than making them unaffordable and teasing all the poor people.

We will own a house soon, and well...I'm sure I'll enjoy decorating it :D

Yoshida himself said based on their data 80% of free companies could buy small houses. People all want the medium to large though for future features.

The thing is we do want them, but like buying a real home, we want to make a good investment for the future, in this case that would be updates, chocobo raising, gardening and crafting station.

Housing was advertised as a social status thing, meaning it was meant to be expensive.

SE didn't say that...they said it was to avoid rich people buying up all the lots initially(still a very lame excuse imho).

No where did the devs mention about the prices being so prohibitively high until mere days before the release. And they made it that high because of the fair actions of other people.

Grinding Gil for days on end isn't exactly a badge of hardcore play, either. Hardcore play is skill, not wealth.
